Our Community Care Kitchen in Bondi is open every Wednesday 6.30pm – 7.30pm at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, 2 Wellington St, Bondi NSW 2026 (just off Bondi Road). It is staffed by volunteers and offers the homeless, disadvantaged and lonely a warm meal.
Our volunteer cooks plan, prepare and cook the meals and frequently reproduce their family favourites for our guests. Rather than offer a canteen format, our volunteers provide a table service for our guests. They use these interactions as an opportunity to chat with guests and make them feel welcome.
During the winter months, the Community Kitchen in Bondi will also serve as a distribution point for the Order of Malta Coats for the Homeless.
The Community Care Kitchen is funded entirely by donations. Gifts $2 and more are tax deductible for Australian taxpayers.
